Nature:
1. It is a thermoplastic with good physical and chemical properties.
2. Has excellent wear resistance, bending resistance, fatigue resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance.
3. It also has high strength, stiffness, and wear resistance, as well as good heat and impact resistance.
Usage:
1. Widely used in various fields, including the automotive industry (such as brake system components, cylinder liners), electronics (such as cable protectors, sockets), textiles (such as ropes, fishing lines), and so on.
2. It is also used for manufacturing pipes, injection molded parts, tools, and household items.
Method:
The preparation of PA 6 is usually achieved through polymerization reactions, where the monomer caprolactam (6-aminohexanoic acid) undergoes polymerization reactions in the presence of suitable catalysts to form linear polymer chains. This polymer chain can be processed into various shapes and sizes of finished products through extrusion, injection molding, extrusion and other methods.
Security information:
1. During processing and use, high temperatures and ignition sources should be avoided to prevent them from melting or burning to produce harmful gases.
2. Wear appropriate protective equipment to avoid contact with molten PA 6 or its volatile decomposition products.
3. When dealing with discarded PA 6, relevant environmental regulations should be followed to ensure safe disposal and avoid pollution to the environment.
